WELCOME TO DUBAI

I arrive at Dubai International Airport on 19th Jan, 1800 local time together with two other friends. After check in at the immigration and collecting our luggage , Karama Hotel’s driver fetch us to KARAMA HOTEL, one of the three star hotel in Al Karama City.
We are considered very lucky to stay in the hotel as the accomodation here is very much expensive....

First night in Karama, we took a walk around the city, most of the people in Al Karama are Indian and Philipino. Its very rare to see Arabic people on the street here, even the shops and supermarkets are owned and managed by Indian. We entered a supermarket for a window shopping and comparing prices of item in Karama and Kuala Lumpur. Most of the groceries is more expensive than KL’s but the mineral water is cheaper, only Dhms 0.80.

About the food, the food price is expensive.I’m so lucky to stay in the hotel as the breakfast is free, even we dont know what is the food’s name but the taste is good.

I’ve been assigned to Al Rashidiya Carpark project, in Al Rashidiya city. This is also part of METRO DUBAI project.

The company provide transport for all the staff

from staying place to working place.Everyday after breakfast, at 7.20 am the van driver fetchs us to the site at Rashidiya.
